How to Conserve Fossil Fuels

If the fossil fuels are continued to be used in the same way and at the same rate, then they will be depleted within almost 50 years. Also this will cause an imbalance between the demand and the supply of the fuels. We need to adopt conservation practices so that we can conserve these resources for our future generation. Some of the conservation strategies can be as discussed.

Use alternative sources of energy especially for cooking.
Switch off lights when not in use.
Using car pools or public transport to travel.
Walk to nearby places or even use cycles to travel short distances.
Use bulbs of CFL instead of regular bulbs.
Get vehicles pollution checked timely.
When the car is at traffic signal, switch off the car to save fuel.
Use air conditioners or heaters only when needed.
Always remember the 3Rs.- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

What is Vacuum Tube

A vacuum tube is, reasonable enough, a sealed glass tube containing a vacuum in which are present several electronic elements: the cathode, anode, grid, and filament. When the cathode and anode are heated by the filament, and a voltage is applied across them, current flows between the cathode and anode. If a grid is inserted between them, the flow can be controlled by changing the grid between a positive and negative voltage. The grid voltage can be quite small, and the plate voltages can be quite high, thus providing an amplifying capability.
