A Hovercraft can be defined as a plane with no wings or a ship that rides out of the water. It rides on a cushion of air beneath the vehicle, blown down by fans and held in by a side wall around the craft. Hovercrafts can travel not only in water but also on beaches and flat lands. Rough ground poses a danger for them which could tear their bottoms. Hovercrafts travel faster than ships. They do not have to push against water, but they just nearly touch the water surface and attain speed up to 120 km/hr. they are more advantageous than planes. They can carry more weight, more passengers; do not need a harbor or runway to land. They simply climb up the beach to settle on a simple concrete landing pad.
